Paul de Hartog joins Roamler’s Client Advisory Board

In this blog-series we will introduce the valued members of our recently established Retail – Client Advisory Board (CAB). In this fourth edition we introduce Paul de Hartog, Global Sales Execution Director at Unilever. We are delighted to welcome Paul as a new member of the CAB. In this blog we will share Paul’s background and experience, as well as his reason for joining the Roamler CAB.

Paul’s reason to join

“If you read a history book 150 years from now, you’ll read that between 2010 and 2030 the world moved into the data & purpose era. I love to pioneer this future with partners and peers at the frontier of this major shift, a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Personal Background

Paul is an experienced Sales Director in FMCG with a financial background (Registered Controller (RC)). He not only brings five years of financial experience, but also over ten years of category and account management / director experience at Unilever Benelux, and three years in leading digitization / automation projects for global sales operations. In his latest role, he is rebuilding Unilever’s global sales execution capability across all channels.

About the CAB

At Roamler, we have recently established a Client Advisory Board (CAB), consisting of valued, long-term Roamler clients and Retail industry leaders. The CAB will share industry knowledge from a client perspective; advising and assisting Roamler on currently offered solutions and future plans for our International Retail department. With the CAB, we aim to understand the needs of our retail clients even better, resulting in the provision of well-suited B2B solutions.

Board members of the CAB will meet on a quarterly basis with a team of Roamler stakeholders, led by Roamler co-founder Martijn Nijhuis, Managing Director of Retail David Viles, and Head of Strategy and Innovation Sybren ten Have. The first CAB-meeting took place in September 2021 and was a great success already. We look forward to the next meetings and insights gathered from the CAB.

We hereby would like to give Paul a very warm welcome to Roamler’s CAB and look forward to working with him in the near future. If you would like to learn more about the CAB, or Roamler in general, please get in touch with our team.
