14% of respondants declare they always buy the same brand, and more than half state that they buy the same brand most of the time. While 5% were not sure, 30% indicated that they always try different brands.
In both cases (loyalty versus a tendency to try different brands), it is absolutely essential that the product is stocked. Loyal customers may switch to another brand if the product is OOS, and potential new buyers will be forced to select something else.
